Life Fitness is the world's leading manufacturer of fitness equipment and consistently produces the best quality cardiovascular and strength training equipment. Keene Dimick developed the Life Fitness Lifecycle 2000 exercise bike in the late 1960s; the first piece of fitness equipment with a computer to give the user feedback. The original Life Fitness Lifecycle Exercise Bike has been joined by 300 other cardio and strength training pieces of fitness equipment.
By the 1980s Life Fitness introduced a stepper, elliptical trainers, and rower and launched electronic circuit training equipment. Life Fitness developed their technology and products in 1990 by introducing FlexDeck to its treadmill range and purchased Hammer Strength and ParaBody.
Even greater success came their way in 2000 after selling their 500,000th Lifecycle exercise bike. Life Fitness equipment is suitable for the home market, for light commercial use and for full commercial gyms.
