Vision Fitness, a Wisconsin-based company started in 1993 as a division of Trek? Bicycle Company one of the world's largest manufacturers of quality outdoor bicycles. Three years later, Vision Fitness was spun off by the Trek Fitness (Trek Fitness was then renamed Vision Fitness) management team to better focus on the specialized fitness industry.
Having sold high-quality bikes with Trek's revolutionary magnetic resistance system, in 1995 Trek Fitness won a 'Best Buy' award by Consumer's Digest and Vision Fitness won the award in 1996, 1998, 2001 and 2004.
1997 saw Vision Fitness's line of folding and platform treadmills, and having received great reviews from their customers, Vision decided to offer more to their clients by introducing the patented folding elliptical trainers in 1998.
